Vineyard cultivated with Nebbiolo for the production of Barolo located in the municipality of Grinzane Cavour, at an altitude of 250 metres above sea level, characterised by alluvial soil, Sant’Agata Fossil marl, clayey-calcareous loam, with southerly exposure.
Only organic fertilisers are used in the vineyard, while natural copper and sulphur-based products are used to prevent diseases of the vine. Production is regulated by manual thinning of the bunches in order to promote perfect ripening.
Barolo Le Ginestre is produced from this vineyard only in exceptional years.
